Ways to get involved

There are many ways you can play an active role after studying with us, ensuring we have an engaged alumni community, which benefits you, your business, your fellow alumni and the future generations who come here.

  • Support your class -
  • Help organize your Reunion - Reunions are a major event in the School’s calendar. They are integral to maintaining an active and connected alumni community, and they require a significant amount of organizing and encouraging classmates to support these Reunion are extremely beneficial in continuing with the connection.
  • Serve as Class Chair -Encourage your classmates to be active and informed members of the School community. Collect news and photos, help organize events and maintain the sense of community you created during your stint at the institute.
  • Taking on a volunteering role in your class is one of the many ways for you to play an active role in the Institute as a member of our alumni community. Not only will you benefit from the greater engagement your class has with the School – and each other – but it is a fun and satisfying way to stay in contact with your classmates and help bring them together.
  • Work with students
  • As alumni of Northpoint, you have the skills and experience to support current students in many ways. You can help those still studying find their niche and hone their expertise, whilst building and strengthening links between the campus community and the alumni network.
  • Mentoring - As a mentor, you have the opportunity to make a difference to a student’s future by helping your mentee understand their academic and career opportunities and choices, or by offering advice on specific issues. Mentoring can take place face-to-face or remotely so is open to alumni wherever you are based.  
  • Offering student projects and internships - Enable one of our students to undertake a company-sponsored project in your company, giving them valuable business experience in a consultancy function. Your company benefits from the addition of an extremely high-caliber and motivated individual, whilst directly contributing to a student’s education.There are a number of ways in which you can take advantage of this great resource  
  • Help with admissions - Alumni are best placed to tell prospective students about the experience and benefits of studying at Northpoint Centre of Learning and to evaluate prospective applicants. Getting involved with admissions is rewarding and provides a hugely valuable service both to future students and to the School.
  • Interview applicants - Interviewing our programme applicants allows you to be part of identifying the best candidates to represent our world class-brand, which in turn strengthens our community and alumni network. The knowledge and experience you have gained from successfully completing your course enables you to identify which potential applicants possess the right qualities to follow in your footsteps.
  • Speak to prospective students about our programmes – Who better than you to take a prospective student on the benefits of studying at Northpoint.
