An astute & result oriented professional with over 23 years of experience in managing a wide spectrum of operations entailing account management and Outdoor advertising.
After finishing an MBA in marketing from Goa University, he worked as part of the account management team in ad agencies like Dattaram, Percept and R K SWAMY/BBDO from 1992 to 2003. He worked on some of the leading brands like Bayer, Siemens, VISA & GE. He was an integral part of the core team that launched ‘Reid & Taylor’ in India and half a dozen new Mutual Funds from Birla Sun Life Asset Management Company. His passion for writing helped him pen down radio scripts for personal, auto, education and consumer durable loans from GE Countrywide which were aired on Radio FM Channels during his 5 year stint at R K SWAMY/BBDO. He believes that working on Out-Of-Home Campaign in Delhi for the launch of ‘Tata Teleservices Ltd.’ paved the way for the birth of a new vertical at R K SWAMY/BBDO.
He then moved to Hansa Outdoor – the outdoor vertical of R K SWAMY HANSA Group as Director Operations in 2004. He co-authored and developed the user manual for an in-house software ‘Hansa Outdoor Job Tracking System’ (HOJTS). He was instrumental in testing the software and implementing the same across six metros including training the personnel. He was responsible for devising outdoor strategy for brands like Colgate, Raymond, Piaggio, and UltraTech Cement and was an integral part of all new business pitches. He served as General Manager, heading Mumbai and Delhi office, at Hansa Outdoor prior to joining Posterscope India Group as Research Director-Strategic Planning.
An effective communicator & team leader with strong analytical, problem solving & organizational abilities, he has a keen understanding of the media business as a planner and strategist. Out of the Box thinker with technical savoir-faire, strong on concept selling & people skills. Adept at swiftly ramping up campaigns, with cross functional skills & special delivery mechanism.
His hobbies include yoga and meditation. He loves listening to Indian music in his spare time. Has imbibed qualities of discipline, loyalty and integrity from his parents.
