Faculty Details

"Harsh Dave was born in 1984 in Ahmedabad. He has done his schooling from Kalyan (Thane District). He loved watching ads and always wanted to be a part of Advertising and Media industry. After HSC (Commerce) he persued under graduation from S.K.Somaiya College in Bachelors of Mass Media (BMM) with a specialisation in Advertising. While he was in second year of BMM he joined Mercantile advertising as a trainee copywriter where he discovered that his interest lies in Media Planning and Buying as he is comfortable with numbers and enjoys extracting insights from data.

After completing his graduation he joined Prachar communication for a brief period and then enrolled for India's first Post Graduation program in Media Management from Northpoint Center of Learning - by Lintas Media group. 

In his 10 years of work experience he has worked in various functions of the media industry spanning Media Audit and Analytics company, Client, Media Agency and his current role is at leading Media Owner of the country.

 

Achievements - Received certificate of merit from Starcom for outstanding contribution and exemplary work during 2011, he was the only employee at Spatial Acces to go to France twice for one month of training and work with the Technology Partner of the company.

 

Activities: Loves playing flute and has been learning Hindustani Classical Music since 2006. He is also a vising guest faculty at Northpoint Centre of Learning and teaches flute at his residence on Saturdays.
